The music video we are trying to create.
That's what i go to school for - Busted
To start with there was alot of things that were needed to be done before we started to create our music video, these included a storyboard, lipsyncing, getting props and costumes sorted and rehersals. Those elements were extremly important because we needed to ensure that our music video was the same as the busted video we were trying to create . Thw way in whcih we did our storyboard was by going onto youtube and getting the video up the printscreening every time there was a different shot and pasting it onto a word document, we had to be careful with this and make sure every shot was exactly right otherwise we would of got our interpretation wrong. After completing the story board we managed to start out lip syncing, we choose to do hot and cold by katy perry because we all knew the lyrics and liked the song. We started the music and sang along to it then stopped and started when we needed to change shot. Our group wnjoyed doing this task because it was good to experiment. Also at the end we got our friends to help up which made the video quite comical. The software that we used was Steffs macbook that she brought into school it was a good idea because we could see ourself on the screen whilst singing which made it easier to see if we were doing it right but it was hard to do someof the shots because we couldn't really move the laptop around alot. Unfortunatly we had no time for rehersals but surprisingly the video did turn out well and for a first attempt i was happy. If we were to of had more time a rehersal would of made everything more polished and easier. Overall our li syncing task went well and myself, Hannah and Steff worked well together although sometimes it was hard to choose what bits we should do but we resolved that by all getting a bit when we sang alone then the rest was together which made it fair. If we were given more time i think that more effort would of been made and it would of been less of a rush but for our final film we will leave enough time to sort everything out and be organised.
